I had a dream last night where I was giving a house party and it was sort of that raining, half-light that we experiance before a major storm. All my dreams exist in this sort of half-light. But in the dream it was sunset, close to raining, dark and wet. It was just us, hanging out, but Ron was there, acting ridiculously arrogant and saying how i would come crawling back, and he kept making insidious comments and attempting to feel me up and make jokes about how I was never going to be free and I would always be his, and you guys were all bored, so I ran out into the yard to try to worship one of the trees, in the coming storm, since I was so upset. But the backyard was all hay and opened up onther a broad boulevard that was streaked with a pink and gold sunset. Any minute now the whole yard might burst into flames, but I found a Wiccan monk and a few small children acting as a coven and they showed me how to reach out for the proper tree. It was a small, thin sort of white birch, slightly bent, and a great golden halo of light lit it up. So we prayed at the foot of the tree, and when I returned to the house, feeling refreshed, he was waiting for me and you guys wre still bored, but I felt stronger then.

I had a Furuba orientated dream...The Juunishi had to gather for some kind of sermon, but then Mine called, who was old and wanted company, so Tohru (c'est moi) was trying to talk to her on the phone during the ceremony because she felt bad for her. But then Yuki clicked the phone off and said she should be worrying about what Akito will do if he sees them not paying attention. So she and Yuki slip out into the garden and hold hands, but when they return, everyone is gone. Tohru sits on the sofa she had sat on during the sermon and worries, and Akito finds her there. He takes her along with him, saying he would hurt Yuki and Kyo if she didn't leave. They come to a chapel on a hill filled with tons of otaku fundementalists and we tried to convert them before we went. Julie was there, and I had to explain to her where it was better that she forget to know me (since Akito would have hurt her.) She thought I meant to commit suicide. Then there were two long, smooth crystals, one amethyst and one jasper, and they had strong vibrations in them. They were each unique, and Tohru said they reminded her of Yuki and Kyo. Then she yells at a fundementalists wearing D-20s and said 'DAMN, We HATE you, and our religion doesn't hate ANYBODY! That being said, cool dice.' So we left and we somehow ended up stalking squirrels for a while, and then we came to an apartment where I finally met up with Yuki and Kyo again. My sister was there, too, taller than usual and beautiful, with her natural hair colour back, and a beautiful dress that looked like a rainbow butterfly pattern, and a rainbow butterfly painted on her face, with sort of a stained glass appearance. I explained to them all happily that this was my sister, and though she had been dead, she was alive now, and I was happy, and I then I gave her a big hug.

'She died, but she came back!'

I dreamt that we were vacationing in a small sort of shack, and we walked down to a green stretch of ocean. The sun was shining, but not brightly; two hippies were watching after a beached whale on the gravelly and sandy path. He seemed to be small enough, but he went on forever, and was moaning like he was dying. I tried to speak to him, like the whales do, in a mourning song, and he understood me. He nodded, his eyes rolling back in his head, and I reached underneath him, and heaved. He wasn't heavy, not really; not like the other dreams were magic is an effort. This was easy, and I kept lifting him until I had eased him back into the water. He thanked me and left. The next day, the same thing happened, only it was a large silver seal stretched out on a tarp. He was frantic, thrashing; I tried to spoke to him, but it didn't work, and this time I called him by his Gaelic word, rhone, rhona. He stopped thrashing and listened to me, intently, his eyes long and gray and silver and human in the way all seals have human eyes. And in this way I helped him back into the ocean as she dived to the depths, I dived with her, into the bright turquoise waters, which glinted with a strong glittering light, and the tarp swirled away, and we were two free spirits, and even though I was human, I felt like a seal. She was already swimming up, to the sunlight, and I was following, an a smooth and beautiful, efortless strugle, just behind. I could see her fins...
